Baby of Sree Priya, a 6-day-old newborn girl from Kochi, Kerala, India, required urgent treatment for a complex congenital heart condition and underwent ASO (Arterial Switch Operation), VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) Closure, and treatment for CoA (Coarctation of the Aorta).

In 2017, the newborn received specialised cardiac treatment at AIMS, Cochin. The treatment addressed multiple structural abnormalities of the heart, including repositioning the major arteries, closing an abnormal opening between the lower heart chambers, and managing narrowing of the aorta to support healthier blood circulation.

With timely medical intervention and fundraising support, the baby was able to access complex neonatal cardiac care within just six days of birth. Her journey highlights how financial assistance can help families secure critical heart surgery for newborns with multiple congenital heart conditions and give them a stronger chance at a healthier future.
