Mohammed Safeen, a 21-day-old baby boy from Karaikkal, Tamil Nadu, India, required urgent treatment for a complex congenital heart condition and underwent ASO (Arterial Switch Operation) along with ASD and VSD Closure.

In 2015, Mohammed received specialised cardiac treatment at MIOT, Chennai. The procedure involved correcting the position of the heart’s major blood vessels and closing abnormal openings between the heart chambers, helping improve blood circulation and support normal heart function.

With timely medical intervention and fundraising support, Mohammed was able to access critical paediatric cardiac care at just 21 days old. His journey shows how early treatment, specialised medical expertise and financial assistance can give newborns with serious heart conditions a stronger chance at a healthier future.
