Salman Ahamed,<\/b> a 2-month-old baby boy from <\/span>Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, India<\/b>, required specialised treatment for a congenital heart condition and underwent <\/span>PABV (Percutaneous Aortic Balloon Valvuloplasty).<\/b><\/p>\n

In <\/span>2016<\/b>, Salman received his cardiac treatment at <\/span>MIOT, Chennai<\/b>. PABV is a catheter-based procedure in which a balloon is used to widen a narrowed aortic valve and improve blood flow through the heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

With timely medical intervention and fundraising support, Salman was able to access specialised paediatric cardiac care at just two months old.
